The Orientation Workshop for newly enrolled youths in the Vocational Skills Training Program was successfully held to introduce participants to the structure, expectations, and opportunities within their chosen fields of training.
Workshop Highlights:

- Industry experts and trainers shared insights on career prospects in masonry, carpentry, catering, and dressmaking, encouraging trainees to stay committed to their learning journey.
- The workshop emphasized discipline, creativity, and customer service as key success factors for vocational professionals.
- Trainees had the opportunity to interact, share experiences, and build connections with their peers, trainers, and industry professionals.
- Beneficiaries were informed about access to start-up tools, funding opportunities, and government/private sector support for small businesses.
- In addition to vocational training, we complement learning with empowerment programs, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship skills training to equip participants with the knowledge and tools to succeed in their careers and businesses.
This orientation marks the beginning of an exciting journey towards skill development, self-reliance, and economic empowerment for the youth in Ahanta West Municipality. The program aims to equip them with practical skills and resources to build successful careers and contribute to community development.
